Ground breaking research and development by client Celtic Renewables lead to the creation of biofuel from waste products generated by whisky distilling. With match funding in place from the Scottish Government and a timeline to attract investment, Represent was tasked with handling the launch of this pioneering Scottish business.
Represent quickly got to grips with the business, the product and funding objectives. To generate as much exposure as possible and attract the eyes of future investors, we focused all PR activity on the launch of a ‘world first’ car running on whisky waste.
We set up a photoshoot and invited key national and broadcast media to test out the car and arranged press briefings with other business and regional media.
We also created a video as social media content to complement PR activity.
