20/20 Productions, the Edinburgh-based creative communications, digital and event production company, has announced a new senior role in Dubai as John Deykin is appointed Director.
Launching an office in Dubai in 2015 due to client demand, the award-winning agency has worked on many high profile events in the Gulf region and now welcomes media industry expert John Deykin to head up the team.
Moving from the UK to Dubai in 1980, John’s successful career spans over 35 years. He established and built up Dubai’s first ever brand management agency in 1997, working with many prestigious brands such as Emirates Group, before moving into specialist roles including Motivate Publishing, the Gulf’s leading multi-platform content producer of market leading magazines, books and digital and Dubai Eye 103.8 FM, where he presented a number of radio shows, specialising in the Arts.
In his new role at the DMCC licensed company, John will focus on bringing new business opportunities to the talented team and working closely with the company’s Managing Director, Alastair Scott and Senior Producer, Craig Munro to increase 20/20 Productions’ profile across the wider region.
Born and educated in Scotland, Deykin was invited to become a GlobalScot in 2008 for his outstanding industry service, business achievements and passion for cultural awareness in Dubai.
